above? Then a training workshop is probably what you are looking for.
As a qualified training professional (CIPD) and author and contributor to many erotic and nude photographic books, John knows
how to make the technical brain friendly. John is also an ARPS with the Royal Photographic Society and a member of the Guild of Erotic Artists and the Association of Erotic Artists. If you want to learn how to use studio lighting then John is best placed to help you. John offers two
types of training event:

covering your exact needs, contact John direct for more information about this service and benefit from individual tuition, training and guidance on what ever you want to cover. A full day costs £750
All tuition and training sessions offer:
- A chance to develop your style with John's technical
guidance and tuition
- Training on how to use lights. Starting with one light. Explore
the effects that reflectors, flags, bounces, grids and
barn doors have on light
- Different lighting setups for different effects; soft
and hard light
- Experiment with studio flash and continuous lighting; tungsten and LED
- How to develop ideas, concepts and creativity
- Learn how to develop an idea from concept to a final
shot
- Working with a model, and how to get the best from your shoot
- The use of Elinchrom, Broncolor and ARRI studio kit,
inc. ringflash, large lightbanks, softboxes, soft eggbox grids, fresnel
spots, snoots and so on
- The use of a Nikon D3 or D7000 and Nikon pro lenses if
required
- Shoot a professional model in a purpose built studio environment
- Signed model release for all images if required
- John arranges the small group workshops to get the best mix of delegates, so you won't feel out of your depth or waiting for the others to catch up
- A fun, informal and relaxed rewarding workshop where your objectives and results are our prime goal
- Snacks and beverages throughout the day and a full sit-down lunch. Learning on an empty stomach is no fun; many delegates say lunch was the highlight of the day!

A typical timetable:
10.00am Start at John's studio for coffee, equipment check and
discussion
10.15am Model arrives for briefing
10.30am Shoot using different lighting and setups. Concentrating
on the lighting and the technical setup.
11.30am Review
11.30am Continue shooting
12.30pm Lunch
1.15pm Review
1.30pm Shoot continues with more discussion, interaction
and feedback with the model. Conveying ideas and concepts to the model.
3.00pm Afternoon tea and review of afternoon's work
3.30pm Activity - set task to take concept through to finished
shot
4.30pm Review days work
5.00pm Close
